Isotopes Park is Home of the Triple A affiliate of the Florida Marlins and home to the All-American Baseball Game, a national event showcasing the best high school baseball players in the country. The park seats 11, 000. Isotopes Park will host the 2007 AAA All Star Game, which will be televised nationally on the ESPN networks.

The Farmer’s Insurance Soccer Tournament Complex - 22 fields!
Two lighted, championship fields highlight the complex. The facility has played host to the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championships, the USYSA Far West Regionals, the AYSO National Games, the Sandia Cup and many other soccer tournaments. The complex also hosted the 2003 USA Track & Field Junior Olympics Cross Country National Championships.

While these fields are popular for major youth soccer tournaments, anyone who needs vast green spaces will find these complexes useful. Possibilities for tournament play are endless including: soccer, football, ultimate frisbee, rugby, lacrosse, kite flying, model airplanes, and more…

The University of New Mexico Sports Facilities
Summer is an excellent time to take advantage of The University of New Mexico’s diverse and versatile athletic facilities. Choose from seven different facilities.

UNM Football Stadium: seats 40,000 plus. Video board with message center and state of the art sound system. Natural grass field. University Stadium is home to the New Mexico Bowl, which pits a Mountain West Conference representative against a member of the Western Athletic Conference. 

UNM Soccer and Track Complex: seats 5,000; newly renovated track surface and expanded seating capacity

The Pit- University Arena by MarbleStreetStudio.comUNM Tennis Complex, an indoor/outdoor facility: seats 2,000, hardcourt, 6 permanent courts available, with potential for additional temporary courts.

UNM Baseball Lobo Field: seats 2,500

UNM Softball Field: seats 1,000, adjacent to the baseball field

The Pit, Basketball: seats 18,000, hosted an NCAA Final Four and many rounds of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s basketball tournament. It is also home to one of the largest state high school basketball tournaments in the country, drawing crowds of more than 150,000 for the week-long event.

UNM Johnson Center: Houses the campus intramural center and Recreation Services department. Johnson Center contains an aquatics center with an Olympic size pool, main gymnasium and arena for basketball, wrestling and volleyball. An auxillary gym has five courts for basketball, volleyball and a weight room, plus a low ropes course is available for team-building activities.

City of Albuquerque BMX Park
Cycling by ACVBThe City of Albuquerque’s new BMX park and Veloport promises to be a world class venue for BMX events in the near future. The first phase of the project which includes the BMX track is expected to be finished by mid-summer 2007 and has already hosted the ABA’s Fall Nationals under special conditions with much success. Phases II and III promise housing for athletes, health facilities, oxygen uptake capacities and a velodrome. In the near future, phases II and III will be completed.
